How do I heat my meals?

Our meals can be heated in the microwave or stove top. If you choose to freeze and heat and eat your meals later, we advise to reheat from frozen instead of defrosting or thawing your meal out first. Please follow the instructions on the packaging.

Ready Meals

To heat in the microwave: First, remove cardboard sleeve, then for non-skin film meals (flat plastic film) peel back to film in one corner and place in microwave, or for skin film meals (vacuum sealed) place in microwave sealed. Heat on high for 2-3 minutes if from the fridge, or 5-6 minutes if from the freezer. After heating fully remove plastic film, but be careful as the contents will be hot.
To heat on the stove top: Remove contents from packaging, place in pan or pot and add a dash of water to ensure your meal stays moist.
The packaging we use isn't oven-safe, so make sure you remove it from the packaging if heating in the oven. However we don't recommend using your oven to heat our meals.


Mains and Sides (Pouch Meals)

Heat on the stove top by immersing the pouch in boiling water and simmering for 10 minutes until heated through.

Alternatively, heat in the microwave by cutting a slit above the line and heating on high for 3-4 minutes or until heated through.
